Oral History and Music Education in Africa

It is a pleasure to soon be giving my first presentation for the Pan-African Society for Musical Arts Education (PASMAE, Zambia, July 2021). It is part of a symposium convened by Marie McCarthy called Sounding the Past, Giving Voice to the Future: Oral History and Its Place in Music Education Research. 

My presentation is titled “Oral History Methods for Sustaining Music Heritage in Education” and the other panelists include Benon Kigozi and Milton Wabyona, in addition to Marie McCarthy and myself.
